It is a the silhouette of a lean but large-framed man slowly riding a motorbike up to the curb closest to the lab. The tall man, dressed in a large coat and a mirrored helmet, killed the motorcycle engine with a sputter and kicked the stand into place with a pair of thick, well-shined boots. He takes his time coming up the walk, drawing first one leather glove then the other off, folding them, and tucking them into his pockets.
The man has just finished dispatching his gloves when he knocks sharply at Naomi's door. The knock has a very crisp, authoritative ring to it.
