Why does Sephiroth remind me so much of Creed? unluckystray March 4 2011, 16:06:31 UTC
Train was walking around to go sight seeing in a sense. Seeming as he would be there for a while, he figured he might as well know where the hell he's going and how to get to certain areas. Once he heard about the area, he seemed somewhat intrigued by it. Not saying that he showed the slight interest on his face or that he'd even participate, but it was worth at least checking out, right? He noticed the dog and then the man with it. Personally, he was a cat person, but that was partially due to relating himself to being a stray cat. He walked up to the man and looked around.

"This is the arena, right?" he asked.

[OOC: Sorry if I'm incorrect about what he's doing. My mind isn't working that well and I think I got lost in the post. XD I just wanted to tag with Sephiroth <3]

Which Creed? furorimperator March 4 2011, 21:07:17 UTC
Soldier sniffed at the boy's heels, but decided to flop on the cool floor instead of pester the humans - for the moment. Sephiroth, however, pulled the towel away from his face and focused on the newcomer, gaze sharp but not unwelcoming.

"It is," he answered simply. "First time inside, I take it?"

[Ooc: no problem, it's perfectly fine! Everyone's welcome in the entry, so feel free. He needs the socialization~ <3]

From the series Train is from. Maybe it's the outfit xD unluckystray March 5 2011, 07:45:36 UTC
Train looked around instead of at Sephiroth. He took in the sights. He then looked to Sephiroth once again.

"Yeah. Just getting around to finding places," he shrugged.

[OOC: Of course <3 So does Train :3]

Ahh, I see. Notifs are still failing for me, so apologies for the delay. ><! furorimperator March 5 2011, 20:31:33 UTC
The tall General chuckled. "Then by all means, make yourself at home." He spoke a word to the pup, which jumped up and bounded for the door, his master shortly following.

Pausing, Sephiroth glanced back over his shoulder. "If you've questions, ask them now. The first two floors are open to the public, just please don't drown in the pool. Tends to be somewhat upsetting, that."

Np it happens to me sometimes too unluckystray March 6 2011, 06:13:39 UTC
Train shrugged at that. "None in particular. You don't need to worry about me," he shrugged. He was almost tempted to bring up the 'cat hates water' comment, but it seemed out of place so he didn't. "I'm Train, and you are?" he asked.

Sephiroth gave him a nod. "Sephiroth, General of ShinRa." A thoughtful pause, then, "Former, I suppose." Truthfully, he had little desire to return to Midgar; life here wasn't exactly an improvement, but it had it's perks.

"Nice to meet you, Train." Odd name, but hell, he'd heard worse. "Been here long?"

Train kind of knew the pain. He didn't want to return to Chronos, no matter how much they tried to get him to come back. Neither by means of peaceful negotiation nor by force. Of course, a location and an organization are two different things.

"Sounds important," he grinned. "Nice to meet you too. I've only been here fore about a month, if that."

Sephiroth shrugged. "Might have been once. Matters very little here."

He quirked an eyebrow, curious. "A month? Hn, interesting. Myself, as well. Seems the place has a penchant for disrupting lives."

"A title is just a title, after all. I grew accustomed to being called, 'Black Cat'," he shrugged. "Figures as much. I didn't have much to disrupt when I was taken here, but it's still a pain. Finding a job here won't be too hard, but that's not the issue that I have to face" he sighed.

Gods above and below, Sephiroth could relate. He nodded sagely. "Yes, I know how it is. But we go on, as we must. The alternative is madness and I think I'd like to keep my sanity a while yet."

Although, with the way things were going, he wondered if that'd even be a possibility. He'd try his damnedest, however, and take what he could with him in the process.

"What sort of work are you looking for?"

"It's harder to keep your sanity than you'd think," he just chuckled. "Well... back home I was a Sweeper, AKA pretty much just a bounty hunter," he explained. It wasn't so much finding the job, it was to find one that didn't require taking orders. He'd have to improvise here, but he felt he would be able to handle it as long as the orders were little to none.

"Hn, doesn't seem to be much call for that here." Didn't seem to need a professional soldier, either. But in some ways, Sephiroth was grateful for the latter. As much as he might be loathe to admit it, this world was a bit of a respite from the grind of Midgar and ShinRa.

"I think many of us will have to consider other options." A shrug. "I myself don't find it so trying, at that."

"I figured. I was trying to see if I could work something out with the police here. It seems the closest to my calling," Train shrugged. "What about you?" he asked.

"If my talents are needed, then I'm willing to oblige. Otherwise, the quiet life holds more appeal than anything thus far."

Really, considering he'd never known what it was like, not to have every single minute scheduled, right down to showering and supper. Sleeping in was a novelty.

"I don't know. I prefer a busy life over a quiet one. If I don't keep myself busy, I'll end up starving," he grinned.

"'Will work for food', then?" Sephiroth couldn't help quipping, stifling a chuckle. He shrugged a shoulder casually. "Well, I have a spare room available, if you need quarters. You'd have to clean it out and set it up, but it's livable."
