[Only one full day back on the job, and Javert's workload has already exploded exponentially. After essentially playing catch-up the best he could with the resources he had and juggling current cases that he needed to learn in a flash, he had been summoned to the courthouse to conduct interview panels for potential new officers by Franziska von Karma and Miles Edgeworth. It is not the most exciting work, but Inspector Javert certainly recognizes the necessity and importance of selecting suitable fresh meat for his team.

Of the small assembled panel of law enforcement leadership, Inspector Javert stands out from the other bureaucrats with their thick notepads, piles of forms and lengthy lists. Rather, he is a dark presence at Franziska's side, seemingly part-man, part beast, noble and stern in bearing but fierce and intense in expression. He has no notes in front of him. Like a wolf, he relies solely on his alert, scrutinizing stare and keen intuition to pass equitable (but strict) judgment on potential new hires.
