[That's not one of the Papal Knights, is it? No, wait, the armor's different. Still, the red-clad teen can't exactly blame himself for that being his first thought, since the Papal Knights were some of the last people he'd seen right before he got here.

Lloyd stops in his tracks, a mixture of alarm then confusion crossing his face. That sounds like a kid in there. Startled, he blurts out the first question that pops into his head.]

Colonel Mustang? Who's that?

[ He was too busy running after Mustang that he totally didn't see you coming! Al jumps a little, but quickly regains his composure ]

He's... an alchemist from back home. [ Glances around, just to make sure he isn't missing Mustang ]

But I guess I must've imagined him.

[Lloyd frowns at this story. This isn't the first time he's heard something like this.] A lot of people have been seeing things recently. It's starting to make me think it's not just coincidence. What's this guy look like?

[ Sounding quite disappointed: ] Seeing things?

[ He supposes that makes more sense than the colonel actually being here... ]

[ But on the chance that he might actually be around, Al'll describe him for you anyways. ] He's about this tall. Short black hair. He's wearing a blue state alchemist outfit.

[ Alphonse draws a picture in a patch of mud nearby to go along with his description. It looks quite obviously like a child's sketch, but it kind of gets the message across... ]

[Not like Lloyd's drawing skills are any better~]

Yeah, people they know. Their names aren't showing up on that list in my Dreamberry, but I'm not sure how much you can really trust that.

[He crouches down, studying the sketch in the mud.] So, a tall scientist with black hair and a blue lab coat. Got it! I'll keep an eye out for him.

Who should I say was looking for him?

Ah, really? [ Excited!Al sounds, if possible, even younger. ] I'm Alphonse!

Er, I'm sorry, and you are...?

[redcladidealist]

[Lloyd grins at Al, pretty sure he can imagine the kid's expression even if he can't see his face.] Really! It's a promise!

I'm Lloyd. Lloyd Irving!

Is there anything else I can do for you? Besides help you look for your friend?

[ Shakes head ] No! Thank you.
