[he was just doing some errands. he would have waited until the weather cleared, but they had run out of milk and damn this store for having the freshest and best milk ever. made the long walk from the city to the village worth it.

so he's completely oblivious of the broadcast, which probably didn't matter much since as he's walking back, he heard a lot of yelling and saw-]

[...giant...turtle... ...heading right towards him.

...what was with things randomly coming towards him this week?]

[The ground is shaking beneath each of Eznio's heavy steps. The oversized snapping turtle is walking on his two back legs, as if being so huge wasn't freakish and intimidating enough. He roared in annoyance when he saw someone small and potentially tasty in his path.

[Dino is rushing stupidly after Enzio, crying out]

ENZIO, NOOOO! [His whip is uncoiled, but trying to actually use it while Dino is alone could prove dangerous! And not in a good way]

[he just continues to stand there, staring up at the huge turtle. that...is a really, really big turtle. but he's making a big mess of things, huh? ...and really all that roaring and stomping about was getting kind of annoying. what did it think it was-Gamera or something?

now most people would probably run away. but Shizuo wasn't like most people. so instead, as he waited for the turtle to get a little closer, he took off his sunglasses, set down the bag of groceries to the side of the road he was walking on, made sure his umbrella was shielding it from the rain, walked back, stood, rolled his shoulders-

and got ready for the inevitable encounter.

[Enzio is not impressed by his adversary, continuing to clumber along straight toward him, shortened turtle arms flailing uselessly at his side as a mini-earthquake of foosteps marked his path, a frantic Dino stumbling after him.

[Enzio is intent on flattening out this guy! Seems like a win/win scenario]

[well. that turtle is in for a surprise.

the moment Enzio tries to step on Shizuo...well really Enzio might not notice anything even if he had flattened a normal person. but he may have felt something. some kind of resistance.

Dino might have been fully convinced that Shizuo had just gotten flattened by Enzio, but in reality, the strange man in the bartender suit was just fine.

in fact, just a few moments later, there would be some sound coming from beneath Enzio's foot. upon closer inspection, it would appear that Shizuo had not been flattened but in fact had withstood the pressure. there had been so much force, a small crater had formed when Shizuo was pushed down. but with both hands bracing against the turtle's foot, Shizuo let out a loud yell as he pushed upwards-as if he were lifting a table ( ... )

[Enzio howled, angered and confused by this.

[Fortunately, grace and brains didn't increase proportionately with his girth. The lifting of his heavy foot did displace his balance and he had no idea how to counter that. Placing his foot back down would seem to be a wise course of action, but the turtle was still sluggish and clumbering, albeit huge, and so Shizuo pushed and his body went with the same direction, falling backwards.

[Tiiiiiiiiiiimbeeeeeeeeer.

[BAM! Enzio went down on his back with a loud groan]

[if it weren't for the fact that it was raining, he would probably be lighting a cigarette. instead he was kind of sopping wet. ...needless to say, despite having just sending a giant turtle collapsing onto its back, he was still very annoyed.

...but now what he was supposed to do with this thing. he can't just leave it there.

-and that was when he finally noticed Dino.]

Hey. This thing yours? [jerking his head toward the downed (and probably flailing) turtle.]

[Enzio is flailing uselessly on his back, crying out in protest.

[Dino, almost stunned speechless by what just happened - what exactly HAD happened? - rushed forward, eyes darting between the stranger and Enzio, his whip uncoiled by his side, hood of his coat up]

......Probably should get a bigger leash. [may or may not have thought the whip was a leash. can't really tell from where he was.

he then looked back toward Enzio.]

.........Isn't it dangerous to keep a giant turtle as a pet, anyway?

Ahahaha. [Feels free to left now the danger is passed. Enzio is just a big eye soar as long as he was on his back]

Well, he's a sponge snapping turtle. [Rubs the back of his neck self-consciously] Usually he fits inside my pocket.

[Dino watched him poke Enzio, smiling a little. Even though the turtle sometimes often went beserk, he was fond of his Leon substitute]

He's just like a normal turtle until he gets wet. Haha.

[he was still thinking about the turtle and how troublesome it would be if all turtles were like that when he was caught a little off guard by Dino's remark.

usually people freak out about his strength since it wasn't, uh, normal. so he contemplates on that for a moment before giving a small shrug.]

It's nothing. He had to be stopped. So I stopped him.

Yes, but I've never seen it done so fast! And you're not injured. [Dino is beaming with admiration. A strong fighter giving an enthusiastic nod to another, because even he couldn't control Enzio that smoothly]
