It had been a while since Ace had a decent sparring match-or at least, he hoped this would be a decent sparring match. While the guy seemed rather energetic and boasted about his strength, it would only be a matter of time before the knight would see if he was up to his words. Regardless, he was rather...excited, in a sense.
That was why he had specifically started to head toward the meeting spot since the night before. Despite living in Somarium for over a year, Ace's sense of direction was still very much lacking, and he did not want to get lost this time.
So at around the appointed time-maybe a half hour later than planned-Ace finally reached the meeting ground.
...Well. Close. He was actually on the other side of the lake.
"Hm...I wonder if he's lost," Ace mused aloud.
Oh the irony.
