Kidnapped to a new and strange world? Been there. Having to fend for yourself and start a new life? Done that. Really, whomever was in charge of this "game" must be quite uncreative, seeing as this has happened to her all of two times, to two separate locations.
She's almost sure this doesn't normally happen to people even once.
Well, except for in her sisters books but those were stories, and this was real life. And because it's real life, Alice isn't asking questions, or knocking on doors, and being obnoxious. Instead, she's walking. Where, one might ask, would someone with no knowledge of where she is be going?
