[it had just turned evening, the sun still setting, and he was just walking to work, wearing his brand new suit. yeti attack or not, he had no idea if he had to still check in or not, and a paycheck is a paycheck. so he was just minding his own business when a random noctaere just sprung out of nowhere.
he was able to dodge it easily enough, but not before there was a rather audible RIP as a claw managed to tear through his sleeve.]
