We join Lambda as she stands in the central plaza of the shopping district, waiting patiently for the arrival of Chii and looking about as inconspicuous as a girl decked out in robotech killbot armour can. Chii had insisted that Lambda needed more than three outfits, and so Lambda (for reasons that she wasn't quite sure of) found herself in a shopping mall for the very first time.
She had been waiting for about fifteen minutes (Chii wasn't late, Lambda just preferred being absurdly punctual.) when she noticed a brightly-coloured crane game flashing at her from the opposite side of the plaza, filled with plush toys. Of course, something like that would be of absolutely no interest to a dedicated battle robot like her.

Nope, no interest at all.

Unless, of course, there was a good chance she could win.

Maybe she could think of it as training for her optical sensors and spatial manipulation skills.

Let's face it, Kokonoe would be more upset if she arrived and Lambda had let her abilities degrade.

Lambda watched as the claw grasped the top of the teddy bear, then retreated back upwards without so much as a tug on the prize.
