At the stroke of midnight, January 25th, a roar rattles every window, every door of Somni City and Espoir Village. Children quake in their beds with wild images of the boogieman in their nightmares. Native men and women draw their windows closed and huddle in their homes. The ground shakes.

[Ty Lee sees everything including the Yeti and it's enough to send a jolt of fear up her spine. She's not easily spooked, but the Yeti is the stuff of childhood legends meant to scare the kids into behaving like good little children. It didn't help that Azula used to tell the scariest version of the stories either. So when she sees the Yeti, she immediately bolts from her own room into Beat's and presses her body against his letting out a little whimper of fear.]

[Beat hadn't even heard the door open as he watched the what had being going on outside. The ground quaking beneath his feet and the loud rumbling had been more than enough to wake him from his sleep. By the time he had looked out the window to investigate, all he could see was the snow tumbling down the mountain from a distance.

His focus remained out the window until he felt something warm lean against him. Slowly he turned around to face the girl behind him.]

T-that was a Yeti! [She gulps.] We used to hear all sorts of scary monsters that lived up in the North. The Yeti was the scariest of them all.

[It definietly helps. Her breathing has become more even and her grip on him loosens slightly. She laughs slightly despite how scared she was previously.]

Mai used to tell me that he didn't exist. Guess that she was wrong, huh?
