Polka had just been trying to do her best to keep herself warm and well-fed on these cold winter nights, but with all of her running around today trying to get everything sorted for her next big feast that she was planning in the next couple of weeks or months, she had completely forgotten to take a break, relax and get something to eat.
Now she was laying on her doorstep, her eyes closed as if she was asleep but a small pool of blood from where she managed to hit her head in her fall might say otherwise.
