[Javert and Naomi are presumably attempting to look inconspicuous in some darker corner of the room. He appears to be in some sort of conversation with her, though his eyes are on the crowd, and he is speaking with a sardonic, humorless grin through the corner of his mouth.

[Javert huffs through his cavernous nostrils. The complete absence of emotion in his tone conveys a dearth of enthusiasm.]

[Javert stares at Tamaki dully, a grimace twisting at the corner of his mouth and his nose wrinkled in revulsion. He looks to the package as if it were making an anatomically challenging pose in something indecent.]

You do know there are stampedes of boys and girls your age that might have liked this better.

Now, now, Inspector. [actually steering him over to the box.] Where is your Christmas spirit?

[Javert notices Tamaki's sly turn of attitude and looks at him closely in silence. His irises glimmer with a feline phosphorescence.]
