At roughly 3:19pm, there was an explosion of purple sparkles in D's main sitting room and a delayed, eerie echo. There was a final pop and just above D's coffee table floated a very mysterious priest. He brought his face really close into Count D's, inspecting him in a very up-close and personal manner.
"... Ah, so it's true, Mister D," Xelloss remarked. "You aren't human after all!"
D straighten in his chair, setting his cup down on the table in front of him.
"Of course, but it's just a matter of curiosity." His smile softened in a friendly manner. "I think a more formal introduction is needed." Standing to his full height, D bowed his head respectfully at the Mazoku.
"Ah, a count!" Xelloss exclaimed, floating comfortably cross-legged in midair. "How intriguing. It's been many years since I've last met a Count. Such a strange title..."
Despite declaring that he certainly didn't need any sweets just moments before, Xelloss helped himself to a generous slice of cake.
Sitting to the left of D, Junrei's eyes were filled with tears as she regarded the new creature in D's shop.
Despite her noble linage, she had never laid her eyes on such a creature before. Giving only a small whimper, she tilted her head in to touch D's shoulder, hiding from the odd beast floating in front of her.
The sound of a whimper certainly drew Xelloss's attention to the young 'girl' seated beside D. His smile only became friendlier - or, perhaps, to the girl, more sinister.
"My, my! You're a familiar face, indeed," Xelloss observed. He moved in closer to the young girl with a deceptively friendly expression. "You are not so far removed from your relatives on my world, Miss."
"I am Xelloss, the Mysterious Priest," Xelloss giggled, his eyes sliding smoothly open. "I'm certain we'll be seeing plenty of each other while we're here, Miss Junrei."
