The cottage was easy enough to find, though it was all Stocking could do to keep from stopping at the neighbor's to gnaw on the candy glass windows. She had a goal in mind, and focused on it as she approached Cottage six. She calmly knocked on the gingerbread door, smoothing out her skirt.
There she was! Thankfully Espoir was relatively easy to navigate. Somni was much larger and intimidating, thus why Angela only headed there when she had to. She answered the door with a smile. "Hi, come on in!"
Stocking bowed slightly as she walked in, Honekoneko tucked in one of her arms. "Thank you again for this," she said, "My sister is... occupied, but she should arrive a bit later." She smiled, keeping her anger and irritation in check, for now.
"No problem, there's a lot of room here for just me." She shut the door behind Stocking, then stepped into the living area of the cottage. "It's got three bedrooms, I've been staying in the first one on the right of the hall. I'm used to being around other people, so it's been really strange being on my own."
She looked about. "It's... usually a lot less... sugary. Hopefully it'll go back to being a normal house sometime soon. If it was warmer, the furniture would probably all melt."
Well, maybe. Stocking's sister had yet to see the place, but Stocking sounded as if she'd made up her mind anyway. Angela grins, obviously happy at the idea of having company again. "So did you two show up here at the same time?"
Stocking nodded. "Just about," she said, "But I came about a few minutes earlier than Panty did." She gently sat down in a gingerbread seat, crossing her ankles.
Angela took a seat as well, crossing her legs at the knee. "I've been here for about a month now. It's not so bad, but it can get weird. It was raining leaves when I showed up, then snow, and now sugar. I'm not sure I want to know what's next."
She cocked her head then, curious. "So what do you two do? Back home, I mean."
Stocking smiled. "Oh, a little bit of everything. Mainly, though, we... solve problems." Just enough information to answer the question, yet not give away too much.
She took that as a hint not to pry. Solving problems was a good enough explanation for her at the moment, she could always find out more later if the sisters decided to trust her.
"I don't know if anyone's told you, but everyone here has some money in an account we can use. There's probably work here, too, but you might not need to worry about it."
"The largest downside I've seen so far is that it likes to grab people when they're in the middle of something important." She toys with her hair idly. "And that it takes us from our friends. Or family. The fact that you and your sister both showed up here is nice, though. Now you don't have to worry about being separated from each other."
Because siblings always get along! Can you tell Angela's an only child?
"I'll try not to get in the middle." She of course assumes that since Stocking is just so polite and sweet that the fights will be nothing much at all!
"Have you eaten since you two arrived? I don't have much that hasn't been turned into cupcakes or donuts, but I do have some stuff from the market..."

"I'm a bit full," she admitted, "The houses around here are rather tasty right now." She chuckled faintly. "Thank you for the offer, though."
