If you were walking by not paying attention, you might have easily missed her. Her skin and hair were as white and silver as the snow, the gold on her gown and the soft glint of her jewelry was the only thing that really gave her away as she was lying down on the snow. Her hair was cascaded around her and covered in snowflakes. Even her lashes were bespectacled with the frozen lace.
Why she was lying in the middle of the field in nothing more than a thin gown was unclear. There were no wounds to be seen, no red stains on the snow. For all purposes and appearances she just appeared to be asleep on the blankets of snow and ice.
