[The sudden change of weather had been unexpected change but Beat waved it off, figuring that it was about that time of the year anyway. He was just heading back to the apartment after running to do some errands when he noticed a familiar figure standing not far from the building's entrance. Raising a free hand up in the air, he lets out a loud greeting at her.]
[She looks up from her list to see who was calling out to her. Seeing that it was Beat, she puts the clipboard and pen down in order to wave back to him.]
[It takes a few more steps before he's close enough to her to talk without shouting, but neither he notices the nearby mistletoe hanging in thin air.]
Ain't been doin' much, yo. Jus' gettin' some stuff for the pad.
[And gesturing at the paper bag in his other arm. Now that he was much closer, he couldn't help but notice the state Shiki was in. Especially because she usually cared the most about fashion among his friends.]
'Bout you, yo? Looks like you was trampled by some Def Märch mob.
[At his Def Märch comment, a hand drifted to the band that tied her hair up in a ponytail. With a groan, she tugs it loose, wearing the scrunchie on her wrist while running her hands through it in an attempt to fix it.]
Been going around the city delivering orders for the shop since this morning. Do I really look that awful?
[Satisfied that there weren't any stray hairs sticking out anymore, she ties her hair nice and tight. Though it's just going to get mussed up when she wears the helmet again.]
