As usual, the young Nightray heir was not looking too happy. Who would be, after being forced to go shopping for clothes for his sister twice. As he expected, he messed up most of the sizes last time, and since that Abel guy who was going to help make Vanessa's custom tailored clothes disappeared, he was forced to actually go out and pick out clothes for her, since she refused to do it herself.
So, he was back in the shopping district again, with his arms full of boxes and bags of women's clothing, only this time it was freezing too. Instead of wearing one of his usual suits, he had added on a long black coat, with a blue scarf, and he made sure to put on gloves too, because he knew he was going to be wandering around this place for hours. Vanessa was kind of picky, and Eliot would never admit that he knew what sort of style she had, and it was hard to find anything that would be classy enough for her tastes. He just prayed that no one he knew would see him and misunderstand.
Unfortunately, he doesn't realize is that he's just about to pass under a sprig of mistletoe that was innocently floating above the sidewalk. There were so many Christmas decorations around that he just didn't register it.
