A wild-haired MENACE TO SOCIETY of questionable sanity is running amuck (ankle-deep in leaves, at least) in Somni City foaming at the mouth with a handful of shouting NPCs police officers on his heels; if he accidentally bumps into you, he won’t be apologizing. The fellow in pursuit is a 'troubled' inmate whom has been sighted after escaping the asylum just over a week ago - this fellow being none other than Goemon, who was bewildered when a few officers came barreling into a restaurant where he was just about to enjoy a bowl of shoyu ramen.
All too familiar with the situation of having cops on his tail back home, his instinct is to run full-tilt and lay low until it the hunt cools down. Hopefully by then, things will begin to make just a little more sense.
Unsheathing his sword mid-stride, he viciously slashes at a couple of lampposts to stall his pursuers, causing the structures to topple to the ground in pieces; however, when an officer is injured as a result of running into falling scrap metal, the ronin’s efforts are easily perceived as an intent to cause harm, making Goemon seem that much more a danger to others and potentially even to himself. One of the men takes aim and opens fire, the round tearing through his sleeve and grazing his forearm. Perhaps the next will faze him and/or properly disable him.
(ooc: HEY THERE CASUAL BYSTANDER, WHAT WILL YOU DO? Stand idly and watch, ignore the situation and go on with your life, help the police or impede their progress? Vouch for Goemon's sanity? If you feel like aiding NPC police in Goemon's capture and want to use some sort of attack/restraint on him, please poke me on AIM just to run it by me! :) Thanks!)
