[Those walking through the village might notice Dominic-or rather, they probably will if they're in the area. It's hard to miss him, what with all the leaves sticking to his clothes and hair-even more than what one would gather just from walking around

[ Angela has taken to carrying an umbrella around due to this whole leaf thing. Otherwise she's stuck with dead leaves in her hair and that's just not kosher.

Thus why it kind of sticks out to her that someone would actually willingly mess with the piles that the towns people have been making. She pauses to watch him a moment before asking: ]

Lose something?

[Upon hearing a voice, he gives a start before turning to the girl.]

A-Ah... yeah, I have.

[witchmaker]

It's going to take a while if it's somewhere in all those leaves. Do you want any help?

[unfearful]

Sure... It's a creature-white and about this big.

[He uses his hands to demonstrate about how large Gulliver is.]

I've tried calling out for it, but it won't respond.

[witchmaker]

A creature, huh?

[ She folds her umbrella and sets it to the side, then kneels to start rummaging through another pile. ] Hopefully it's just asleep, or hasn't heard you for some reason.

[unfearful]

[He resumes searching as well.]

Well, it's pretty resilient, so I doubt it's hurt or anything, but...

[He sighs.]

I wouldn't be surprised if it were just ignoring me.

[witchmaker]

[ She pushes the leaves out of the way with both hands, though more just fall down in their place. This is a lot easier said than done. ] It might be easier to bait it. Do you have any food it likes?

[unfearful]

No... I don't think it has any particular preference, to be honest.

[witchmaker]

That's different. Usually critters have at least something they like to eat. [ She blows a leaf out of her face and continues to search. ] Spinycarrots or applesocks or something...

[unfearful]

Er... what?

[witchmaker]

Cabbadillo, maybe? [ She looks up. ] You know. Things animals eat.

[unfearful]

I haven't heard of any of those things.
