Still lounging about in the sitting room (his new favorite place to relax), Big Boss pocketed his DreamBerry after finishing his conversation with Frank. He had absolutely no idea what the boy wanted, but he was sure he'd find out soon enough if he just waited.

Frank soon entered the sitting room, bowl of stew in hand. Without a word, he stepped over to his commander and held the bowl out to the man.

Big Boss stared at the bowl.

"What's wrong?"

[nekkid_snake]

"Did Adam make this?"

[stoicism]

"It's your dinner. Try it."

Taking the bowl from Frank, still a bit confused by where it came from, Big Boss brought the stew up to mouth before taking a small sip. It had been quite awhile since he actually eaten something that was thoroughly cooked.

"Hey, that's pretty tasty, Frank."

How about that? Tetsu was right. A general rule of thumb was not to trust the culinary tastes of people whose diets consisted mainly of raw animal meat but Frank couldn't help but feel a sense of accomplishment. Being complimented by both his commander and comrade made him feel almost overwhelmingly good.

"I made it."

"You made it? I had no idea you could or liked to cook." Big Boss couldn't keep the hint of surprise out of his tone.

Taking a much larger gulp from the bowl, he grinned wider at the boy. "It's really good." Maybe Frank was spending time with Ocelot.

A bit of a smile crossed Frank's face as he watched Big Boss enjoy the stew. He hadn't seen the man this happy with him in a while.

"Perfect Soldiers can do anything. Tetsu helped though; he instructed me on how to make it."

"...Tetsu. You mean Ocelot's pet?"

[stoicism]

"He's not a pet."

[nekkid_snake]

"...Ocelot's.....friend?"

[stoicism]

"His name is Tetsu," Frank said.

"He's not a pet, he's a comrade. He's as much a part of Outer Heaven as you or I, Sir."

As if on cue, Tetsu trotted out of the kitchen. He looked entirely pleased with himself. He smugly made himself at home on his usual couch armrest.
