[there's a smallish moment of hesitation-- last she knew Takuma was all distraught over D even though she did think he was being a bit of an idiot and isn't too good at these matters and she has no idea how that turned out]

Hm? [He turns to the direction of a voice and see Haruhi talking to herself...oh she must be looking for a book! How could he not help?]
And what might this lady be looking for~?

There's a book I want, but I can't reach it, so I'm looking for something to stand on.

Ahh, how high up? [Well he's definitely taller than her so...hopefully he can reach it.]
But just in case! If even I can't reach the book of your wanting...I would definitely try to grow another inch taller just for you~

[...they got about six others, but yours is in their hand.]
[[ooc;; SO HI, Haruhi and Crona have the same seiyuu and are both androgynous. I figured shenanigans should totally occur. >_>;;;]]

Oh-- um, thank you. [blink]
[ooc: shenanigans are always wonderful~ \o\]

I, um. Didn't mean to make so much noise, I-I'm sorry.

Grr, come on, I've almost got you...
[eventually, and perhaps by sheer luck, with one last heave she's able to grab on to it-- as Maka pulls, apparently it wasn't the only book that wanted to come down--]
-- Aah!
[thunk-- thunk thunk thunk thunkthunk. one by one and then all together, more books than she had asked for came tumbling down (and quite possibly bumping into her head in the process) until they were a messy pile on the floor.]

Ah... would you like some help?

[now rubbing the part of her head where a book got a particularly good hit in, Maka's looking more than a little flustered when she spots that someone else noticed the mishap]
Sheesh, how embarrassing... Sorry, I didn't mean to disturb you from anything.
