[That book you wanted Haruhi? Seems to have just fell to the floor by a light gust of wind. ..But wait, none of the windows are open nor are they close by to have caused that sort of wind anyways.]

[hears the thunk and turns. odd, she didn't think anything looked as though it might be about to fall. she heads to pick it up, then notices it's the precise one she wanted and blinks at it]

Eh?

[Nearby is Ammy, wagging her tail as she watches. Of course, she just so happens to be there during that exact time.]

[turns, sees Ammy, and almost jumps in surprise]

....What's a wolf doing in a library?

[and one with weird markings, too. what is that.]

[ walks into the library, dressed in a long, creme-colored scarf with techni-colored edges and fringe and tons of beading, the item looking out of place with the more modern clothes he's been wearing lately. he's looking for a book on techniques for chiseling marble, when he spots Haruhi. ]

...Haruhi.

[ he offers the young woman a nod.] How have you been?

I've been well. Lots of work, but nothing unmanageable. How... about you?

[there's a smallish moment of hesitation-- last she knew Takuma was all distraught over D even though she did think he was being a bit of an idiot and isn't too good at these matters and she has no idea how that turned out]

[Kida was in the library looking for some...manga to read and to pass the time. He was sure that Mikado would appreciate it too so he figured it wasn't a bad idea~]

Hm? [He turns to the direction of a voice and see Haruhi talking to herself...oh she must be looking for a book! How could he not help?]

And what might this lady be looking for~?

[...there's something about him that's very familiar.]

There's a book I want, but I can't reach it, so I'm looking for something to stand on.

[Wonder what that is C:.]

Ahh, how high up? [Well he's definitely taller than her so...hopefully he can reach it.]

But just in case! If even I can't reach the book of your wanting...I would definitely try to grow another inch taller just for you~

[not a clue. 8| ]

No thanks, I don't think that's even possible. It's right up there, the thick red one.

[she gestures to a shelf that's within his arm reach. she remembers now that he was in the "host-off" with Tamaki-- even if that doesn't explain why he seems familiar, since she doesn't think they've ever met, it definitely explains at least some things.]

[Crona isn't terribly tall either, but they have an obnoxious blood puppet. They overall decide it's best to not request Ragnarok do something in the library, because he is anything but quiet, and this results in a purple-haired moetard attempting to climb the book shelf to get down your book.]

[...they got about six others, but yours is in their hand.]

[[ooc;; SO HI, Haruhi and Crona have the same seiyuu and are both androgynous. I figured shenanigans should totally occur. >_>;;;]]

[was not expecting that and blinks at the sudden pile of books that have been brought down from the shelf]

Oh-- um, thank you. [blink]

[ooc: shenanigans are always wonderful~ \o\]

[Meekly, Crona offers the book to Haruhi after unearthing themselves from beneath the rest of the pile.]

I, um. Didn't mean to make so much noise, I-I'm sorry.

Don't worry about it, it's not a problem. Are you all right? [she takes the book in one hand and offers her other to assist Crona in standing.]

[elsewhere, Haruhi may cross by someone else who's having a similar predicament, only they're being a little more stubborn about the situation than you. here's Maka, pushing herself up on her toes as far as they'd allow, and her extended fingers are just baaaarely brushing up against the spine of the book she desires on a higher shelf.]

Grr, come on, I've almost got you...

[eventually, and perhaps by sheer luck, with one last heave she's able to grab on to it-- as Maka pulls, apparently it wasn't the only book that wanted to come down--]

-- Aah!

[thunk-- thunk thunk thunk thunkthunk. one by one and then all together, more books than she had asked for came tumbling down (and quite possibly bumping into her head in the process) until they were a messy pile on the floor.]

[it's hard to miss the sound of that many books falling off the shelf. Haruhi's one aisle over, so she turns to see what happened, approaching when she sees Maka surrounded by fallen books]

Ah... would you like some help?

Ow, ow, ow...

[now rubbing the part of her head where a book got a particularly good hit in, Maka's looking more than a little flustered when she spots that someone else noticed the mishap]

Sheesh, how embarrassing... Sorry, I didn't mean to disturb you from anything.
