Harry 04: Finally learning to cook....

[Harry waited at the entrance to the onsen for Estelle. He hoped that today would go well, and he hoped even more so that he wouldn't accidentally catch something on fire, but more than likely he'd end up

[Estelle waves at Harry from a distance and jogs up to him, all smile, her hands holding on tight to a basket]

Good morning Harry! Do you know what Mister Fay is going to teach us today?

As the two younger ones were meeting up outside, Fay was already busy in the kitchen, getting out the utensils and vessels necessary for today's lesson. He rattled about cheerfully, delighted to have someone to teach again. It really had been a while, after all.

[Harry smiled as Estelle caught up to him. It hadn't been that long since they'd seen each other but still it seemed like far too long.]

Hey! I'm really not too sure. Hopefully nothing too complicated.

[He waits for Estelle to fully reach him before heading up to the door of the house and knocking.]

In any case, I stopped by the pastry shop and picked up some of their best cookies. Just in case I'm not able to make anything good...

[She gives Harry a small sheepish smile and waits for Fay to open the door]

After just a few moments, the entryway to the onsen slid open and Fay greeted them with his best smile.

"Good day Harry, Estelle! I'm so glad you could come by! It's been rather quiet around here recently, so having you around will certainly bring a little life to this place. Please come in!"

[Harry offers a smile as he finally gets to meet Fay in person.]

Thanks for having us. I really appreciate it.

[Estelle smiles to the blond magician]

Good morning Mister Fay! I hope you and Mister Kurogane are well?

[She walks in after Harry and she offers the basket to Fay with a small bow]

Here, this is for you. To thank you for showing us how to cook. And in case we miserably fail at it...

[She laughs a bit nervously]

"Think nothing of it," said Fay, waving them inside and graciously taking the basket. "To be honest, I haven't had anyone to teach cooking to for a while. I miss doing it."

He set the basket on the reception counter and then turned, pointing them toward the kitchen entrance.

"Everything's ready in there! Though I'm curious; what do you feel like learning to make today? Savory or sweet?"

So I just realized that Fay-mun was the only one doing the text right. Haha I am a genius~ OTL

Harry looked over at Estelle when she mentioned Fay and whoever Kurogane was. Maybe she'd been here before?

"Trust me," Harry said as he steps inside and heads over to the kitchen area. "Any sort of help would be great!"

Whenever he's asked about what they should make the green-eyed boy let's off a sheepish shrug. "Honestly anything that's not a sandwhich or something you'd make for breakfast is great. That's really all I can make."

"Oh! Anything sweet!" answered almost instantly the Princess. She giggled slightly at Harry's response:

"Oh yes. That too..."

She could cook, but she needed new ideas and recipes.

"Well, if you're in for something sweet ..." said Fay, tapping his chin, "do either of you already know how to make creme brulee or fondant au chocolat?"

He went into the kitchen and headed for the fridge.

"Let's see what I have in terms of supplies ..."

Harry just gave a blank stare when Fay mentioned both those things. He had no idea what either was but they both sounded like something that would result in a scorched kitchen. Harry looked over at Estelle with a small smile.

"Do you know what that is?"

Estelle followed the blond man to the kitchen and nodded as Harry spoke to her:

"I've never had creme brulée before, but I've tried the fondant au chocolat Mister Tamaki makes at the Cafe des Rêves. Lots of our customers love it as well!"

Fay lifted his head from behind the fridge door with a thoughtful look.

"Well, I do have enough eggs here ..." he said, "however, creme brulee does take a long time to prep. Perhaps we should go with the chocolat instead. I think I have enough bricks."

He flitted over to a cupboard, opening it and pulling out several bars that he unwrapped, revealing very dark, shiny and fragrant chocolate.

"Have a whiff!"

"Bricks?" Harry wondered out loud before Fay produced the slabs of chocolate. He leaned over and gave a small sniff before a smile showed up on his face. "That smells really good!"

Maybe this cooking thing wouldn't be so bad after all, and if they were going to cook with tasty things like chocolate practicing wouldn't be so bad either.

Estelle hummed approvingly as she breathed in the sweet aroma of the chocolate. She then went to the sink and washed her hands before beaming at Fay, waiting for his instructions.
