Kamui was nearby. He's been here a bit longer than Kio, but he found himself in a similar predicament. He had also been tricked by one of the Jack-o-lanterns, except the the tricky pumpkin was no longer. He had smashed the thing into bits. Kio can see the poor Jack-o-lantern scattered all over the place, once he notices Kamui. Kamui then spoke, not really speaking to Kio, but just commenting on the whole scene. "....They're annoying."

Kio blinked for a moment, not exactly sure of what just happened. One minute there had been a talking jack-o-lantern and the next he saw a man standing there and only bits of the pumpkin left. Scratching the back of his head, Kio let out a small laugh, “Yeah it really was annoying.” Well at least there was someone who was actually able to talk in this town.

“So are you from around here?” Kio finally stood back up as he finished brushing himself back off. Kamui had appeared so suddenly that it had thrown him off a little, but he was happy to really see anyone that didn't look like they were on auto pilot or something.

"...no." Kamui answered his questioned. He wasn't much of a talker.

Kio was social enough that he managed to carry conversations even with those who ignored him at first, after all Soubi had been the same way when Kio first met him. "Neither am I, by the way I'm Kaidou Kio. What's your name?"

Kio reached out his hand toward the other, it would at least give him somewhere to start, and if they had just gotten here like Kio did they could stick together and might find something out.

Taking a moment before he got up Kio scratched the back of his head as he stood up, he was kind of hoping that no one would have seen that. But then again with all the noise that had been made it would have been hard to for someone not to notice, "Y-yeah, just tripped over it."

Never mind that he still had no clue where he was or what exactly was going on. Looking back down at the pumpkin it seemed to be quite for the moment, making Kio wonder if maybe he had imagined the whole thing. "Well, I'm actually kind of a little lost."

"Eh? There's a map?" That would have been real helpful considering that Kio had spent the last hour aimlessly wandering, and he was certain that he had spent a good twenty minutes going around in circles. Though as the other pulled out the device, Kio looked at it wondering why the man had called it a dreamberry when it was just a simple blackberry phone. "Actually, heading back to Tokyo would be better."

Looking at the map though that Leonardo had pulled up for Kio, he still didn't recognize any of the names of the places. Or even what country this place was in, just staring for a few moment he blinked, not really sure what to say.

You're not dreaming. This is a dream world called Somarium. Well.. I guess we technically are dreaming...

Dream world? So I really am just asleep and having some crazy dream?

Great.So even in my dreams I trip and fall face first.

[Sitting up a little more, Kio crossed his legs and rested his arms on them.]

So are you here to show me around?
