He had been sitting down on that stupid bank for far too long. Damn, he even ended up taking a nap on it. So he should get a move on. After all, he had a list of things to do. He already got him cigarettes with the help of the lovely Aerith AND he got himself a map of Somarium from a guy down at this bookstore, who was nice enough to sketch him one. Sure, it wasn't the most accurate map ever, but at least now he knew how to reach the city.
He's now near the edge Espoir and the city isn't very far. His list of priorities includes finding a place to stay, learn how to use that Dreamberry thing better, find (with some luck) a gun shop and come up with a way to make money in that place. After all, how is he supposed to live in a place without money, right? And he's guessing that 'the old fashioned way' isn't going to work here, so he has to come up with a real job.
There's something bothering him though. What Naomi told him has been stuck in the back of his mind. He really shouldn't be jumping to conclusions about women like he usually does, should he? After all, wasn't Aerith pretty nice to him? And didn't Flonne offer to help him if he ever was in trouble? And didn't Naomi herself complimented him?
Maybe that 'trip' to Somarium could help him overcome his abnormal distrust of women and make him forget about... Well, that didn't matter now. He had things to do, places to go. Also, there's no way to change someone's personality overnight. This type of thing takes time.
