The boy didn't even notice D until he heard him speak, and like the horse, he also gazed over at the tall man. He starred for awhile taking in the other's image. He then glanced back at the horse when it moved away before looking at D again. He smiled, his face lighting up with warmth.

Cooro nodded "That's me, and you're D?" He said, pretty sure of it from the sound of his voice and what he knew through the Dream berry. The boy's Chocolate colored eyes met with D's red ones, and he showed no fear. some could say he was too trusting of people, but Cooro didn't feel anything bad from D.

And even if he did it wouldn't have changed his choice, he had a place to stay and was also getting a free meal, he wasn't one to pass such things up no matter the type of person. If things got dangerous he'll just get out of there as quickly as possible.

He walked up to the man his wings fluttering before going back into his back and the feather on his arms also retreated along with the wings, showing the bare skin and now those mirrored marking's on his shoulders appeared even clearer then before. Cooro pondered what D might of thought about his wings, but wasn't going to ask...not yet anyway. When he was a few steps away he beamed at him. "Thank you Again!" He said in a chipper voice, now seeming almost like a normal human child. But there was always something odd about Cooro.

He looked back at the horse. "What's his name?" He asked still very curious of the animal.

D watched his his lavender eyes quietly as Cooro's wings and feather's retreated, turning into a deceptively normal human child. He was curious about the animal attributes, but the dhampir wasn't going to say anything. The tall man noticed the smile that lingered on Cooro's face--he seemed to be a very happy child. D offered a nod when Cooro asked if he was in fact who he spoke to on the Dreamberry.

The hunter walked over in his trousers and loose button-up, looking over at Velvet who stood tall and proud. D's height nearly matched the animal's as it remained there obediently.

"This is Velvet," D stated, his large hands giving Velvet's lava-red hair a pat. It didn't nothing to settle the wild mane. "He's my mount--a cyberhorse." He noticed they didn't have any here in Somarium, though there were wild stallions that ran about the field.

Cooro noticed how tall the other was when he had gotten closer to the lavender eyed man, but he didn't quiet realize it fully until he saw him next to the horse and his mouth went slightly agape. "You're really tall...Maybe even taller then Senri!" He said before blinking and getting over this. He just wasn't used to it...And he himself was a little over 5 feet. he wondered if he'd grow to be as tall one day...Not that it mattered, since he could fly.

He then focused on the cyberhorse again. "Velvet..." He said and a small smile came onto his face again. "He's very cool looking..." He turned to D when he mentioned the word 'cyberhorse' and grew a very curious expression. "Is that his Breed?" He asked. But then he thought of a even better question and one that had secretly been gnawing at his brain since he spotted Velvet. "Can I touch him?"

"His breed is a Thoroughbred, but he's a cyborg. He has mechanical parts." He gestured to the horses legs, which gave a dark black metallic gleam. "Only about 30% of him is still organic."

D looked to Velvet, then back at Cooro. "Yes, you can. He won't hurt you." Despite his fierce look, Velvet was obedient to a fault. The horse remained there patiently, lowering his head so that Cooro could pet him.

Cooro's eyes widened as he took in all the mechanical parts. He wondered why and who made the horse into a cyborg but the horse didn't seem to mind and although obedient to D, he didn't think the horses free will was gone.

As soon as he was given the okay he seemed to ease up and he reached out to stoke the animal's snout. "I don't usually get the chance to be close to horses like this. Mostly not one like Velvet. Most horses I see are being ridden by warriors or Knights." He looked over to D. "Are you a warrior D?" He said with a smile, he wanted to know all he could about D and Velvet now. But he was also aware of the possibility that D will get annoyed at all the questions, and he didn't want to annoy the man.

Since Cooro was so young, D didn't mind the questions. If an adult asked so many, it could come off as aggravating--but then again, Takuma was extremely curious, much like a child. h watched him pet the horse, and pondered on his question.

"A warrior..." D let out slowly, before he shook his head, long cascading waves that hung past his waist waving. "No, nothing like that. I'm a hunter." He was also a prince, but that particular title was jammed far into the back of his mind. He didn't want it.

"Perhaps you can ride him sometime." if the boy flew, he could appreciate the extreme speed of the cyberhorse, and how high it could jump and how light it was while in run. But for the moment... "You were hungry, yes? I have food for you in the dining room."

Cooro moved his hand over to stroke Velvets red mane and admired the feel of the horse's coat. He turned to D when he started talking though giving him his attention, which for Cooro...was something. The boy always got distracted by something.

But even though he tends to disappear at random times he always comes back for dinner. "a hunter?" He asked tilting his head. "What do you hunt?" The boy asked blinking those big Chocolate brown orbs.

But in the next second he forgot what he just asked and he beamed. "Really!" He said, sparkles clearly coming into his eyes. "That would be Awesome! Thank you!" He wanted to ride Velvet now but without knowing it D said the only thing that would get Cooro to wait...food. With the mention of food the boy's stomach began to growl. "Food sounds good..." he said and patted Velvet one more time before backing away and heading towards the door, his stomach totally in control of the child's mind right now.

Since Cooro seemed fully distracted, D opened the door for him, leading him inside the barely decorated house. Past the living room on the dining table was a bowl of fruit. D closed the door after them, and his eyes caught a glimpse of the tattoo on Cooro's back.

"There's fruit on the table, but I'm sure you'd like mor than that. Would you like bread and cheese?" he wondered what he wanted to drink. "What would you like the drink? We have..." No, he shouldn't give a child coffee. "...We have Water, tea, and orange and apple juice."

In the back of his head, a certain demon was talking.

Hey, hey D. Who's the kid? Lefty's voice echoed in the back of his mind.

He looked around the house for awhile before noticing the fruit bowl and there was a apple...

And Cooro went straight for it. He loved apples and anything to do with them. He took a bite of the fruit and was chewing it before he heard D mention the bread and cheese. He blinked for a moment and swallowed his bite. "Yes please!" He said with a bright smile before going back to his favorite food.

Cooro would of probably said apple juice but his body demanded a different type of drink. "Water would be nice.." He was getting dehydrated, the last time he actually drank something being when he met with Senri at the lake. Which probably wasn't the healthiest.

"All right." D headed into the kitchen, getting the other a tall glass of water. He glanced over at Cooro, who was eating the apple happily. D pulled out a plate, grabbing the loaf of french bread and a knife, cutting it into two thick slices, then obtaining some cheese from the refrigerator.

No, seriously, D, the voice in his head spoke. Who is that kid?

Cooro, D thought back. And you'd do well to not come out, Lefty. You're still in trouble for what you said to Takuma.

You're no fun, the demon spoke, before fading back.

D walked out, setting the water down and the plate of bread and cheese down. He looked at Cooro, and while his face showed no real signs of curiosity, D's interest was piqued. If anything, his pointed ears told all as they perked up form his thick locks of hair. He was so small. So... young. Or perhaps he wasn't as young as he looked. The world was strange that way.

Cooro glanced over at D while he spoke to the demon, he couldn't place a finger on it but during those instances something was different. He decided to push it off to the side though. He didn't feel like he was in any danger so it was fine.

The black haired boy finished the apple by the time D came back and when he saw the water he picked it up and drained half the glass. And then he tried the sandwich. "Yummy~" He said enjoying the taste and eating more slowly now that he wasn't completely starving.

He really was a thirteen year old boy but he definitely wasn't ordinary...For one thing he should of died before he was even born, another thing was that he could pick things up about people most couldn't. Usually it was just whether they where a ordinary human or not or if they had bad intentions. This could of been becuase he was born a +anima and was therefore closer to his Anima then most. +anima's being children who was faced with a life and death situation.

D watched him quietly.

"Are you an angel?" D finally asked. It was the last thing D expect the child to be (perhaps even some sort of harpy hybrid?), but he decided that would be the question to get out of the way--in case he insulted the small child if he thought he was less than and turned out to be such a creature.

Cooro looked up stopping for a moment. He blinked...The boy had always been mistaken as an angel of death but never just an angel, although his wings where used to style an angel sculpture, and he pretended to be one for the wood sculptures blind younger sister.

He smiled but shook his head. "I'm not an angel... I'm human." He said and thought for awhile. "I'm a +anima though, a human that gained certain parts of an animal. Senri is also a +Anima, but of a bear, where I'm a crow." Although his wings where slightly different then a normal crows, it seemed more pure and more in tuned with him and he with them. But basically if you got them tested they would have crow DNA.

Cooro took another bite of his sandwich, he had other thoughts swirling around his head to further answer that question but he really didn't want to dive to deep into his own world, not yet anyway. But if D asked he probably would answer.

When Cooro had the face of a cherub, D wondered how the youth could be anything butan angel. However, the boy claimed he was a human, and D knew little otherwise. When he explained he was part animal, the dhampir needed no further information, thought he did notice that Cooro's wings from earlier had not been completely identical to a crow--well, not from this world, at any rate.

The brunet watched the other eat, before turning away, heading out of the dining room.

"Would you like a shirt to change into, for bed?" D knew all of his clothes would be monstrous on Cooro since he himself was so tall, but one of his nightshirts could fit the boy... perhaps drown him if Cooro wasn't careful. The thought amused him just a small bit.

Cooro ate happily enjoying his meal, although when D started moving out of the room he looked towards him wondering what he was doing. He listened to the question.

Now that he thought of it all he had with him was what was on his back, and he probably really should take a real bath. He nodded, and smiled, but he was chewing on his food still so he didn't talk. The nuns at the church he grew up in had taught him that much.

D set everything out on the bed for him, before going to the bathroom as if he heard his thoughts, and started running the bath water. He remembered when Takuma was turned into a child... children needed baths. Well, everyone needed baths but children especially.

The hunter ran the water, setting up the bath before heading out, back to where Cooro was eating.

"Take a bath," He stated, and he walked over to the couch and coffee table in the living room, which was still visible from the dining room. There, were many papers laid out, where D had been sketching out some ideas for the fountain Leonardo da Vinci was helping him out with.
