[the petting along her back has her arching a bit into it, it was a sudden reaction! however, it's different otherwise with her tail. she immediately tenses up, but you can tell by her bristling a little that she might as well be giving a warning hiss.]

[ He tenses his fingers as if to pull, but then lets go, seemingly just teasing. But in the next moment he's doing something else -- like picking her up and holding her over his shoulder. ]

What should I do with you? Take you home like a stray cat? I wonder if this will wear off. If not, I'm sure you'd rather I left you with Kida-kun but I don't think I could trust him to take care of an animal. He's just not responsible enough.
