Who: Yami Yuugi, Tamaki, anyone else?
Where: Tamaki's cafe
Style: Third
Status: Open, though TRY to keep it to one thread? @_@;

His legs were freezing.

That was the first thing that Yami Yuugi noticed as consciousness slowly came back to him; his bare legs were dreadfully cold, and the really should not have been. He blinked his eyes open, though he instantly regretted it as a wave of nausea hit him hard, and he has to roll over on his side in the event that he threw up. His body was stiff, covered in cuts and bruises... the mere fact that he was even alive surprised him to no end, but the cold was bothering him.

It was a long moment before he was finally able to open his eyes without feeling sick, and... well, it didn't take him much to realize that he wasn't in Egypt anymore. Carefully, he pushed himself up, the snow crunching softly beneath him as he looked around at the massive expanse of white. Maybe... he really was dead... again, and this was some kind of afterlife? Not like he was an expert on what the afterlife was supposed to look like, though he didn't imagine it would have cottages with thatched roofs, some of which looked like they were going to fall over any moment.

Moving carefully, least he broke something in his fall, Yami Yuugi pushed himself to his feet, bracing himself against a nearby tree. Again, he gazed around his surroundings, pretty sure he was not hallucinating, nor was he in some kind of twisted game. This clearly wasn't Japan either, so he somehow didn't miraculously end up transported back to the real world. So just... where was he...?

"Aibou?" he called, pausing a moment to listen, before calling out again. "Aibou! Jounouchi! Honda! Anzu!"

He paused again, listening carefully, and tightening his fist when he realized that no answer was going to be coming any time soon. Shuddering, and trying not to think about what this could mean, Yami Yuugi pushed himself away from the tree to inspect the cottages; one of them had to be some kind of store, and hopefully the owner would allow him in to warm up, and perhaps give him some clue as to where he was.

Following the path, he found the cottages growing scarcer, until he found himself at a gate leading to the city buildings he had been able to see from the odd little village. Too frozen and in pain from falling down the cliff to even try and comprehend how that could be, Yami Yuugi continued to trudge forward, trying vainly to keep himself warm amongst all the snow around him. It felt like an eternity before he finally saw lights in a store window, and he shambled toward it; his fingers were too stiff with cold to attempt opening the door, so he ended up knocking weakly against the door.
