As if he was likely to complain about being given a meal he hadn't asked for unless it looked truly repulsive. He'd probably never say it aloud but Malik was a good cook especially when the freshness of the ingredients was taken into account so he ate, listening to A.B.A and taking in the information. It was difficult to try and work out how old she was because there was something strangely innocent about her but she had to be in her very late teens at least if she were married.
He did shoot a glance over to Malik at the comment about cooking being simple. Altaïr still hadn't truly mastered it himself which was why he so often found himself at Malik's so he wouldn't have to eat badly cooked and more often than not burned stews and soups in his bureau.
"There are smaller and lighter fishing poles available in the shops here that might be more suited to you than the poles Malik and I used. You need something strong but not too unwieldy otherwise you will have a hard time catching anything when you're on your own." He might as well offer his own advice now that Malik was no longer imparting advice to her.
