Girls' Bath fluorite_flux September 24 2010, 04:09:12 UTC
[The girls can get comfy here. No peeking over the wall! Oh, and uh, if you want refreshment, you have to go to the gathering area ... there's no one to wait on the girls' bath.]

This was nothing Paola had ever witnessed before. The Japanese really had something going when they decided hot baths in open air was an awesome idea. Her dress and accessories lie well away from the water and her bare tan body was exposed to the autumn air. She slid into the water and let out a soft, relaxed noise. This was really nice. It was also nice to let her long, chocolate locks down from their container so float around in the water.

Realizing that someone was actually in the girls' bath at this time, Fay silently bemoaned the fact that they had no female employees. It would be rather hard to serve anyone in there at the moment, after all.

He went over to the entry way anyway and knocked politely on the frame, keeping the bath out of his line of sight so as not to make any guests uncomfortable.

"Hello in there! Is there, perhaps, anything that you need?"

She looks back at the door, not bothering to cover up. What do courtesans have to hide besides scars, burns and daggers? She smiles at the politeness of him not barging in though. "No, grazie."

Fay's sheepish expression turned to his usual grin at the sound of her voice.

"Grazie? I apologize but I am not familiar with that word. It isn't one I ever encountered in my travels."

"It means, thank you" Paola calls back, turning over and pressing her chest to the edge, palms pressed to it as well.

"Ah, so simple," said Fay, shaking his head at himself a little. "It does sound like a lovely language! What do you call it?"

"It's Italian." She shifts in the water, setting herself up to get out but so reluctant to leave the water. "Isn't it difficult to talk through a door?"

"Italian, hm?" he said, leaning a little further in now but still keeping his eyes averted politely.

"And, I would come in, but I didn't want to be rude."

She laughed at that, hard. "Rude? How could that be rude? I don't mind." She chuckled deeply, keeping her dark eyes locked on the door.

"If you say so then!"

He ducked inside the entryway now, still looking a bit sheepish.

"You'll have to forgive me. I am a bit old-fashioned when it comes to such things, I suppose you could say."

Yeah, well, she's 1400's old-fashioned. She smirked up at him with a relaxed expression. "I could imagine so. This world is so... Prudent."

"Your name is...?" She asked, her chocolate eyes almost a smolder upon him.

He gave a slight bow.

"Forgive me, my lady, for not offering it sooner. My name is Fay Fluorite, but it's a bit long, so you may call me Fay. And you are?"

She smirks at him. What a strapping young man. She hasn't seen very many blondies in her day and he was definitely a handsome one. Her head tilted to the side, playfully looking up at him. "You may call me Paola."

"A lovely name!" he said, straightening at last. "Is it 'Italian' as well?"

"Yes." He was very tall, she noticed. And slim too, almost scary how slim. Did the blonde not eat so well? Despite the thoughts running through her as she analyzed him, she continued to smile courteously at him. "You're from a different world as well, aren't you?"
