After getting over the initial shock that they were in a dream world and not a dream, Sheldon had reluctantly agreed to move into an apartment with Leonard who had seemed oddly against the idea. So after being recused from the rabid scarecrows, Sheldon had insisted that they search for suitable logdings which would suit his needs. With the apartment adequetly secured (apartment 400 since there was no 4A), Sheldon discovered to his horror that the couch was far from even though Leonard thought that it was fine. It was times like this when Sheldon wondered why he was roommates with the shorter man.
So after nagging convincing Leonard to go couch shopping, they ended up finding themselves at the mall situated in Somni in the furniture store. You may notice Leonard's expression looks like he's going to kill Sheldon or at the very least smother him with the couch cushions while Sheldon on the other hand is sitting on each couch trying to find the perfect cushion density. There would be no point trying to equate in other variables if he wasn't in the apartment.
