Snow was on his way back from picking up a few things when he decided to call Serah and tell her he was on his way home. She had been gone this morning when he woke up, but he thought maybe she had gone to visit Lightning or do any number of things. At the time, he hadn't wanted to disturb her if she was busy.
Picking up his phone to call her, Snow found her name was completely gone from the registry. He stared blankly at the screen for a moment, and then frantically scrolled through the list time and time again, hoping he had just missed her. "Please... please..." he said, finger jamming the button harder and harder every time he failed to see 'Serah Farron' on the list. Finally, it began to sink in. She was gone... she'd gone home. And this time, she probably wasn't coming back. Right after he'd promised to spend more time with her, right after he'd made sure to be there for her and he knew she was okay.
Now his phone is in pieces on the ground. It's crushed beneath his boot as he just lets out a yell of complete frustration. The L'Cie brand on his arm flashes blue, a heart shaped crystal appearing in his hand. Crushing it open, light pours out, summoning Snow's Eidolon - The Shiva Sisters. He had to make sure she was really gone, he had to at least look around and make sure it wasn't some gigantic mistake.
The two sisters automatically combine into a motorcycle. Jumping on and putting it into the right gear, he blasts down the street, leaving a trail of ice and a broken phone on the ground. Don't worry, he won't run you over.
