Noon has finally arrived and Franziska von Karma is lounging quite contentedly in a padded chair outside of a small cafe located only a few minutes away from the police station. Her back is impossibly rigid as she takes a sip from her coffee mug, her tiny feet tucked delicately under her chair and out of sight. There's a small plate on the table in front of her, half of an untouched sandwich waiting to be eaten, and a hard-covered book beside it.
Despite the inflexibility of posture, her sharp face is unusually relaxed as she takes a quick sip from her cup.
It's a rare sight to see the young woman out and about during the day without an agenda to attend to. With the crashing of the castle just a few weeks ago, the chaos of the aftermath has thankfully finally died down, leaving the teenage prosecutor a brief moment to relax and enjoy a quick meal.
But, of course, the atmosphere is far too pleasant to last. That's just the way things are. It wouldn't take long for an interruption to surface.
