Status: OPEN like a kids mouth on Halloween.
Lara groaned as she opened her eyes, taking in the sight surrounding her. She raised an eyebrow slowly: it looked like the boys out did themselves this time: the Croft Manor looked like a field with scarecrows dispersed all over. Turning on her headpiece, she smirked:
"I know I said to make it more challenging, Bryce, but the next time you put me under to get me to the training room, I swear I'm coming directly for you."
Despite her threat, her tone of voice was playful and her hands reached for her guns, raising them in front of her as her eyes scouted the area for any movement.
"Now, show me what you got, boys."
The moment she said that, a scarecrow came at her from her left and she quickly turned around, shooting at its head, watching it explode in a heap of hay. The surprise was barely hidden in her expression as she watched the scarecrow drop down to scoop the hay and put back its head together. But already another one was coming at her and she jogged away towards a tree, shooting off its right arm. But the scarecrow simply bent down to pick up the fallen member and brandished it as a weapon, still continuing its charging at the young woman. Shooting off its left leg this time, Lara moved closer to the writhing man of hay on the ground, frowning slightly as she shoot him again, only to keep seeing him roll around.
"Well...that's interesting...Bryce? Where did you get those?"
She waited for her assistant’s answer while fending off the rest of the scarecrows, jogging backwards out of the field and into the streets of a small village. At the horrified expression of the habitants, she slipped her guns back into their holsters on her thighs.
"Where the hell am I, Bryce? Bryce? Hillary?"
She knew something was wrong the moment her questions were met with statics on her communication device. She wasn’t in England anymore.
