Estelle opened her eyes and rubbed the bump on her head. She should have guarded herself better, but she had to admit that she wasn’t used to fight without Yuri guarding her while she was casting her spells. She got up, instantly looking around for her friends. But the new scenery struck her: she wasn’t in front of the tower anymore. How long had she been out? Did her friends moved forward without her?
"Rita? Karol? Where are you?" she called to the empty space. "Mr. Raven?" she tried at last.
Looking around, the first thing that she noticed was the lack of barrier. Concern raised in her stomach as she realized that the small village she was in could be attacked by monsters at any moment now. Had the barrier failed in here too? In this case, Estelle thought, her friends would have hurried to the blastia core before it was too late for the villagers. The flying castle over her head may be the best place to have the blastia core put in. After all, she had read that higher places were the best one to put the core responsible for the barrier. Briskly walking to the first person she saw, Estelle pleaded:
"Please! I need to know where the blastia core is! This village could be attack soon! I need to find my friends and help them protect this place!"
