[She found herself sighing as she hung up from Snow, sitting back in her place on the sofa, leg's bent up under her, Dreamberry falling into her lap. It didn't seem like they got to spend a lot of time together, not even here where they didn't have most of the worries

[He hadn't given himself enough time. Even with his ridiculously long legs and running at top speed, Snow was too far away to get back home in ten minutes. He cursed as his watch ticked past his time mark; he really did hate lying to Serah, even if it was unintentional.

But he arrived after another ten minutes, out of breath and bounding up the stairs like a giant gazelle. As soon as he was through the front door he called for her.]

Serah?

[illuminatedfate]

[She's so not happy with you, Snow, at least if the way she comes out of the kitchen, arms crossed over her chest and a small, hard glare in her eyes are any indication.]

You're late.

[shivasentinel]

[He scratches the back of his head, giving her a sheepish smile.]

I was a little farther away than I thought. Couldn't run fast enough it looks like.

You have no sense of time management, do you?

Not... really. But you knew that already, right?

[She found herself sighing, shaking her head lightly at the other's question. Sometimes she forgot that even Snow wasn't perfect.]

I've just missed you, Snow. You're never home anymore.

[shivasentinel]

Oh Serah.... [Snow walks forward, taking hold of her wrist and pulling her to him in a hug.]

I'm sorry, I didn't realize.

[illuminatedfate]

[She sighed softly as she felt his arms come around her, the hug gentle. Her own slender arms wrapped around his waist, pulling him in closer.]

I know there are other people who need you Snow. But I need you too.

[shivasentinel]

I'm so sorry, I never meant to make you feel alone. [Strokes her hair, pressing his lips lightly against her head.]

I'm an idiot, I didn't even think about it. I'll make it up to you, I promise.

[illuminatedfate]

[Her lips curled into a small smile at the feeling of those lips against her hair, before twisting her head so she could look upwards at him. The smile faded at his words, however, and she wondered silently what it meant that he hadn't even thought about the fact that he was neglecting her.]

And what happens the next time you don't think about it, Snow? I don't want this to become a cycle with us.

[He holds tightly to her arms, the look on his face pleading.]

Serah, believe me, it won't ever happen again. I swear to you.

You are the most important thing in my life, I love you more than anything. If you tell me something bothers you, it will stick in my head forever. I promise.

[illuminatedfate]

[She's silent for a moment, simply looking up at him as if she's trying to decide weather or not she believes him or not. But if he promised, she knew it would be kept.]

It better. Because next time I'm going to let Lightning be the one to hunt you down.

Please don't send your sister after me, she hits me enough as it is. [Pouts a bit, reaching up to stroke her cheek.]

Come on, I'm going to take you out.

[illuminatedfate]

Then I guess you'll just have to be extra diligent, won't you? [She smiled softly, leaning into his touch slightly.]

Taking me out where, hm?

I'll be so diligent you won't even recognize me.
