I daresay you couldn't outstare a fish. Their sense of patience must be something to behold.

Then if I cannot out-stare a fish can they sleep at all?

It's.... I'm not sure... what a curious question. You close your eyes and dream or hours pass in seconds.

What about those who do not have eyes to close? Or eyelids to close them? Can they not sleep, then?

Flowers seem to sleep just fine without eyes.
