So far, everything was perfect. The Princess had been bustling about for several days now, making sure everything was in order for her guests. She was rather proud of herself, considering she'd never had to organize anything like this and she'd gained a new respect for the serving staff because she now appreciated the effort involved in something as small and demure as a mere luncheon.
Nevertheless, she stood in her living room, hands on her hips, and gazed around with satisfied eyes. She was quite fond of her little
house and was taking care to keep it immaculate. Not having a proper dining hall was a bit of a problem at first, but she'd instead set up things in the
main room, and had set up her
serving table against the wall, complete with her main dishes, a succulent pomegranate soup known as
Ash-e anār, and
Fesenjān, made with rice and duck breast in a tangy sauce.
Still in the
kitchen was the
fruit platter she'd spent most of the morning slicing, and the
wine which had yet to be brought out. She ventured into the kitchen, took a sip of the rich red wine to calm her nerves, then made a tour of the house one more time, ensuring that the
wash room was spotless, and that her
private quarters were thoroughly closed off.
Coming back downstairs, Tamina stepped out onto the porch, hands folded in front of her to keep her from nervously biting her nails, and waited a bit anxiously for the first of her guests to arrive.
[Edit: There will probably be threads everywhere, since Tamina and Sebastian are probably moving through the house serving and talking to folks, but just tag in anywhere! ♥]
