Xerxes Break may have told him that his father had sent him to stay with Lady Sharon... But as Eliot sat in the room that Break forced him into after he witnessed that insanity last night, he realized more and more that his father wouldn't have sent him into that kind of situation alone. He was already missing his family... If he didn't know that he was supposed to be going on a trip to the Rainsworth house, maybe his brothers didn't either. Gilbert and Vincent were still new to the house too, and Eliot was one of the only ones who accepted them. Did they not even know? As he lay in bed that night, his thoughts kept drifting back to his family. Eventually, he was able to sleep simply because he was that tired, but as soon as he woke up in the morning, he figured out a way to open up the window so he could climb out of it.
As much as his father might disapprove of this, he wasn't gonna be away from his family any more. He quietly crept away from the house, not knowing where he was going. If his father had sent him here last night, whoever brought him could still be close by, and even if he couldn't find them, someone HAD to know how he could get home.
