[People wandering the streets of Somni are about to hear a rather panicked cry and the sound of running footsteps as Dagger dashes past them. Right on her tale is a swarm of all sorts of animals, including birds, squirrels, rabbits

[The scene in front of him was unlike anything he had ever seen before. At least if the young girl running from the swarm of trailing animals was anything to go by. And while he wasn't exactly sure why a swarm of so many different types of animals would be interested in the girl, he was pretty sure she wasn't interested in finding out.]

Need some help?

[Dagger almost runs past him, but manages to slow down and look back. She shoos away some of the birds that attempt to land on her shoulders.]

Yes, please.

[He quickly assess his options. He could kill the animals, which would probably get them yelled at. Or he could do something in order to frighten them and hope it would be enough to cause them to scurry away.

The ice attack was aimed at the swarm that was coming behind her, larger hunks forming as a barrier in front of the onslaught, effectively stopping them in their tracks.

Of course he had also frozen half the ground, sending many of them slipping and skidding across it. Which was weird, even his standards.]

Uh... I think that'll scare them off... for a while.

[She watches as the animals go slipping and sliding around, unable to get closer now that they've been effectively blocked. Breathing a sigh of relief and pausing to catch her breath, she gives him a thankful bow.]

I appreciate your assistance. Thank you very much.

[Panic. That caught her attention but...]

They don't look harmful so calm down already.

But they won't go away! [And dodging a bunny that attempts to jump on her.]

[She pauses just to look at her...okay fine.]

Hmph. Then I guess I, Mistress Alice, will have to be of help today!

...why they so attached to you anyways?

I'm not sure... I was in the park and they started to gather around and follow me. I was just singing.

[Rikku's just out for a walk when this stampede of animals come out of nowhere.]

Woah, woah, woah!

[Dagger dashes past Rikku, and tries to hide behind a bench.]

I'm sorry!

[Rikku is just kind of staring at the herd of animals staring before she tries to shoo them away.]

Don't worry about it! But why are they following you?

[royalknife]

I don't know. They started gathering around me at the park and now they won't stop following me.

[Waves away some birds.]

[A bandaged-up Zoro is floating nearby-courtesy of the power of flight that he has little to no control over-when you and your stampede roar by, and since he can't figure out the controls on this 'flying' thing, he can do little more than shout angrily in midair and swipe with a sheathed katana at the innumerable birds that are smacking into him and buffetting him with their wings in their haste to follow you.]

Fucking-!! Damn things, go the hell away-!!

[That man.... is flying. She halts in her tracks and looks up at him, amazed that he's in the air, only to be bombarded by bunny and squirrel hugs. She manages to break free and jump out of the way, before looking up.]

A-Are you all right?

[strayswordsman]

I'm-[he bats away a particularly stupid bird that keeps ramming into him, and then they're mostly past him]-fine. The hell is with these things. [Then he looks down and...raises an eyebrow at the mini-herd that's after you.] Huh...?

They're following me. [Shoos away a deer.]

I can't get them to stop.

*Chores around the house done? Check. Groceries bought and put away? Check. Ate food already? Double check. Taking Noireau out for some exercise?*

*That was still underway.*

*Harley, running around in his fail!pony demon form, is getting chased around by a happy malamute dog, all through the many streets of Somni, having far too much fun playing tag with her. And of course, she's having too much fun playing with him too, barking and wagging her tail as she dashes past his hoofs in a sprint, reclaiming the lead in their race before losing it just as easily again.*

*With the turning of another street corner, in addition to all the myriad natural animals out after Dagger, there's now a large, fluffy, black and white dog, and a very tall bipedal horse-looking creature racing down the street toward her position. It's all white, with black tiger-stripes, and no immediately-visible arms. Fortunately(?) it hasn't seemed to see her yet.*

*Congratulations, your day just got a little weirder?*

[Oh, that's definitely what she needed. D8

Now that she has things coming at her from both directions, she yelps at flings herself behind a bench on the sidewalk.

Trampling was not something she wanted to experience.]

*Turning his head back from glancing behind him at the happy dog, he barely notes her movement before his attention is grabbed by the swarm of animals, and he somehow manages to slow to a stop before they all reached each other. Trampling creatures was not what he wanted to do right now.*

*And the girl--*

*He looked over to the bench, and back to the little critters, and back to the bench. They were... after her? They hadn't reached them yet, but they were making an effort to!*

*He takes a few steps over to the bench, and peeks behind it*

Are you trying to run away from them?

*He figures it's a reasonable question, given that the first rabbit he saw, and tried to reach for to pet, attempted to bite him. But still -- holy cow, the odd horse-thing is talking to her. What madness is this?*
