[as promised, and with nothing much else to do, Fang, Vanille, and their little Pomeranian, Fluffy, were now standing by the shores of the lake. they had even brought some lunch, so at first glance one would imagine they were just out for casual picnic.
after all, there was no sign of any normal fishing equipment. the two girls did have their weapons on them, but perhaps that was just for personal protection from any wandering bears or any potential shady characters that could be running around.
oh how wrong those assumptions would be]
Make sure you tie Fluffy's leash nice and tight. Don't want him runnin' off and we end up havin' to chase him instead.
[and she twirls her staff around, flexing a bit. well she might as well practiced a bit while Vanille did the fishing. she couldn't imagine anything that would warrant an assist from her]
[ooc: Alrighty then, so in short, Fang and Vanille are out by the lake fishing, only they don't realize they're going to nab Nessie, the lake monster. So this post is split into two parts: mingling before the catch, and then there's a thread for once Vanille catches Nessie.
And yes, Vanille will be able to start hauling the monster in on her own, but other people are free to come by at this point as well to either gawk or try to help!]
