[It took Dagger longer to get ready than originally expected. It was silly, but she found herself getting nit-picky over minuscule things in her appearance. She had to stop and berate herself for acting this way.

After applying a bit of makeup, finally settling on an outfit (which consisted of a soft, blue, knee length dress) and twisting her hair into a knot at the back of her head, she made her way out of the apartment and to where Zidane was waiting for her. She found him easily.]

I hope you weren't standing here too long.

[for a moment, all he could do was kind of stare a bit. she looked beautiful as always, as well as cute.

but it was only for a moment, and he was back to his usual self, giving a short laugh as he came over]

Nah, not really. [sidles up next to, slipping an arm around her waist] You look great by the way.

[She smiles. Even though compliments were a common part of her life, the ones from Zidane were special, and always held meaning for her.]

Thank you. You look quite nice yourself. [Gazing up at him, she tilts her head slightly.]

So tell me, where are we going?

[and they're walking~]

Hmm...that's good question~ I wonder where we'll go first.

[ie, he's not telling.]

You're terrible, keeping me in suspense like this. [She gives a mock 'humph' sound.]

But doesn't make things more fun? [and just laughs as he slips his arm away from her waist and takes her hand]

Come on, this way. [and now going down a small side street]

I suppose you have a point. [Squeezes his hand gently and follows along.]

You always know how to keep things entertaining.

Don't I always?

Just imagine if we were back in Alexandria or Lindblum. Now there I could show you all the places nobles would never go to.

What kinds of places are those? [Totally interested.]

The kind where you could get into all kinds of trouble and not get caught. [gives her a shifty-eyed glance]

I will have to see it with my own eyes, won't I? [And learn everything there is to know about Alexandria.]

[grins] When we get back home.

[and she may have noticed that they've been on this side street for a while. it's rather quiet, but not in a threatening way. more peaceful and, well, quaint.

after some quick looking around, Zidane motions over to a small cafe up ahead]

Come one, we're almost there.

Yes.

[She is looking all around, taking in the sights as they walk. It's lovely, and she feels completely at ease.

Intrigued when she sees the cafe, Dagger nods.]

Lead on.

[they enter the cafe, only to have it reveal that it was more like a quaint ice cream parlor]

I figured we could get a small snack first before heading out. What flavor do you want?

[It's so cute! She takes a moment to reply, as she investigates everything around her. Flavor....flavor...]
