[Dastan wasn't the only one adjusting to life (or afterlife) in Somarium.
It hadn't been very long since he'd been fished out of the lake by Yosuke and Javert, but Charlie's reaction to this place had only been positive so far. Sure, he missed his surrogate family and the friends he had left behind, but dying had been something he'd had to do. And as long as they were better off now, being rescued and all, he was fine with the consequences he had to face. So instead of moodily withdrawing from this new world like he might have in the past, he'd picked to be a part of it and involve himself.
He'd gotten a flat to stay in, fished out enough cash for a guitar, and settled down into an average, normal life, which really was odd for him. For the first time in all his memories, he didn't feel the need to be inherently special. He wasn't a rock god anymore. He wasn't a castaway either. He was just Charlie Pace and that averageness didn't really sound so bad anymore
( ... )
[Dastan looks at the frantic man with some barely concealed surprise. He gives his surroundings a quick look to find that he's alone and he looks back at the blond, a bit confused]
None that I can see. Unless you are not what you seem to be.
[He rolls his eyes from his place on the shore, but despite his act, there's a hint of a smirk on his face.]
Oh, ha ha. Real funny there for a nude man bathing in a lake.
This isn't some sodding island, you know. There are certain luxuries around that you can make use of. Showers, for example, would probably help get rid of that fishy smell you are going to have for the next week.
[He shrugs, not really realizing how bad it sounded in the first place.] You're on your own then, mate. I'm sure you'll figure it out at some point. I don't really know how else to explain it, unless you'd rather I start rambling on about pipes and pressurization and all that nonsense.

[He knows this from experience.]

There is no private fountain nearby my house. This is better than not bathing at all.
[...Because doing so in the rain is really even more inappropriate than in a lake...]

Why do you need to know?
[Sorry mate, you seem nice, but cautious Persian is being cautious]

None of this is making any sense for you?

I'm sorry to say that it doesn't. Perhaps it is something that was unique to your world?

....I think I'll prefer for you to explain it to me here.

But at least put on a pair of pants, man.

I'll make sure to ask someone if I don't.
[He nods toward his drying clothes by the shore, smirking slightly]
I would but I doubt you want me to walk to them. If you would be so kind to pass them on to me...
[ooc: Sorry for the incomplete tag. LJ decided to play with me apparently]
