[Ty Lee bustled around her tent cleaning things up. She wasn't one to clean, but she felt a need to since Beat was coming over to pick up her for their...what would she call it? Date? A little smile bloomed on

[Getting ready had taken Beat longer than he thought it would. It had been a while since he actually took some thought on what he was wearing and not just grab whatever was on the top of the pile. He eventually decided to stick to his usual shirt and pants. The weather seemed too hot to wear anything with sleeves anyway.

What Shiki had said to him kept playing back in his head. This wasn't exactly a date; It was just two friends hanging out. Beat still wasn't sure where things stood between him and Ty Lee. Did he really want this hang out to turn into a date. All he knew was that he did enjoy being around her, and that worried about her every time something weird would start happening in Somarium. Had that all really meant something?

He swallowed the lump that formed in his throat as he made his way over to the carnival. Looks like it was now or never.]

[Ty Lee ended up finding a white sundress to wear and had only just slipped into it. The weather was so much better now in her opinion, even if it did make her slightly nostalgic for home. She wondered vaugely when Beat was going to show up, but decided that it wouldn't be good to start this outing with a flustered aura.

Still though, when she heard footsteps leading up to her tent, she couldn't help but smile a little and tug at her dress. After taking one more look at herself in the mirror she nodded and quickly ran about the tent putting away the last bits and pieces before Beat entered.]

[He stood outside Ty Lee's tent for a moment, preparing himself for whatever was going to come out of all of this. They were just hanging out. He shouldn't be as flustered as he was about the whole thing. But there he was, worrying about how he looked, how he stood, what he should say.

Letting out an annoyed grunt, he rubbed the back of his neck. Why was he even bothering with those things? It only made he more frustrated on how things will turn out. All he had to do was to roll with the punches. Without a second thought, he finally opened his mouth to speak.]

Hey, Flips. You in there?

[Right on time. Ty Lee quickly shoved the last few pieces of clothing into the drawer before hurrying to the entrance of her tent where Beat stood outside. She peeked outside before going outside herself to give him a hug.]
