Typical, the doorbell would ring just as he got up the stairs. Nevertheless, Gokudera sprints into his room to grab his tie and hurtles back down the stairs, wondering where Yamamoto is and who might be on the other side of the door. It took the work of a moment to get the tie on and with it loose around his neck, he unlocked the door, swinging it open with a rare grin.

"Hi, I'm glad you came."

He was partly surprised to see Shoichi but it was good to see him - during the Choice battle and the aftermath that Gokudera could remember, he'd come to consider him family.

Yamamoto had was just finishing drying Jirou off from his bath when the doorbell rung. He'd intended to ignore it a little longer until he made himself a bit more presentable than the soaked shirt and shorts he was wearing but the pleading look that Jirou gave him convinced him otherwise.

He opened the door to the bathroom and his dog bounded out, down the stairs and to the doorway to greet Shouichi by pouncing on him and licking his face.

By the time Yamamoto caught up to Jirou, all he could do was rub his head and laugh.

"Haha, Jirou really wanted to say hi! I don't know where Kojirou and Uri went after I finished their baths, but maybe they'll come down too!"
