chaos was walking through the village, getting used to the place, when he saw someone he had not expected to ever see again.

"Jin?!"

Jin recognized that voice. He turned to face it and smiled, glad to see someone familiar. "chaos. Well, I guess I shouldn't be too surprised that we ended up in the same place if I really am somehow still alive."

chaos looked down. "You... I do not understand how this place works, but I saw you die."

His expression turned serious as he nodded. "Yes, I remember being killed by the Gnosis. I was actually just wondering how it is I don't still have a pair of holes in my chest. But it seems like you know a bit more about this place than I do."

After sitting Syaoran down and making him promise that he wouldn't move (much), Sakura had left the onsen. Espoir was a pretty large area; she was sure that there was at least someone who would be able to help. At the same time, she wondered: was she overreacting? Syaoran had insisted that he was fine - he'd even acted fine - but nonetheless, she remembers two other Syaorans, Syaorans of the future. And she worries.

Lost in her thoughts, Sakura hadn't been paying attention to her surroundings. It's only at the last minute that she notices Jin and consequently, only barely manages to stop and avoid walking into him.

"Oh, I'm so sorry! I should have looked... Are you all right?"

[ooc; Sakura's looking for a doctor for Syaoran so I was wondering whether you'd be open to plotting?]

He smiled and shook his head. If he was at all annoyed by having almost been run into, he didn't show it. "Don't worry, I'm fine, just a little confused, that's all."

(Sure, Jin's always willing to help out and it'll be a good chance for him to find out there's no hospital in the village. Feel free to AIM me at Firebenderjess if you want.)

Sakura steps back to give them both some room. "I'm glad." She pauses, then adds, slightly uncertainly, "Confused? Ah - could I perhaps be able to help?"

He crossed his arms and looked up slightly. "Perhaps, you seem like you've been here longer than me, anyway. I was just wondering how I got here and, honestly, how I'm still alive after my last battle."

You cannot bother Jin, it's virtually impossible.

I'm afraid so. I don't know of any villages like this and, to be truthful, I shouldn't be in any condition to stand, let alone hold a conversation like this.
