Isabelle continued running along the paths of Espoir, not caring to ignore her brother's comments about letting herself slip in their 'vacation'; she slowed only as she saw the beginnings of what appeared to be magic. Maybe it wasn't the same as Magnus' usual blue, but that was definitely some sign of a Downworlder. Far better than any mundie.
Tossing her hair, tied back in a long braid, over her shoulder as she tentatively approached, Izzy tilted her head at one butterfly fluttering by her, sparkling.
Ange didn't jump when a voice sounded near her, but she looked slightly irked, her eyes opening slowly. The scarce golden butterflies around her flitted about for a few moments before fading, leaving the two girls standing alone.
"I don't know that I'd call it that," she replied, a bit winded from the effort. She tilted her head slightly, watching the stranger with guarded curiosity.
Clearly amused that she was being treated with such animosity right off the bat - a nice change from the obvious scorn she showed for most girls (though this little redhead reminded her a bit of a certain redhead back home) - Izzy shrugged slightly.
"So what would you call it, Downworlder?" She asked, glancing around for the lingering traces of the butterflies.
"'Practice,'" she said simply, shifting her weight a bit. It had been a long time since she had worked on her magic, and without the Stakes or Maria around for guidance, it had been a bit more difficult than usual.
"Should I ask what a 'Downworlder' is?" she questioned, somewhat flatly.
Well, if you'd conjured little skulls or headless men, I'd choose a different adjective.
{Magnus explained, still teasing her. But his mood is down, so the usual smile isn't there to match the words. He steps closer to Ange, then lifts his own long, slender arm. It looks as if he's gesturing to the cloudless sky - and then he starts to draw on the air itself, leaving the words "I miss you" hovering overhead in gold, shimmery scrawl. It's nothing to the warlock. Sorry he's so emo right now}
The heiress looked down at her cousin, nodding slowly. She wished very much that she could summon her friends, the Sisters of Purgatory, and knew that Maria wanted nothing more than to have her friend Sakutaro at her side. She sighed softly, nodding sympathetically.

Ah... thank you. It wasn't much of anything, though.

[Magnus is teasing, but there's not much inflection behind the words]

[She blinks, watching him write in the air. After a moment, with a small frown, she turns to him.]
So, you're a dabbler in the magic world, yourself.

She walked up towards her cousin, and then noticed the golden butterflies around her.
"Ange!", she called, "Maria didn't know you could do magic here... Uu!"

"I wasn't sure that you could, but... it might just be summoning that isn't possible here," she said.

She then looked sadly towards the ground, as if she missed something or someone a lot.

"I do, too... though, maybe one day, it will be."
