[He was in a better mood heading up the elevator than he had been going down, that was for sure. He'd ended up making his cautious way out of the alleyway eventually, wandering curiously down streets that were both familiar and unfamiliar, the people being the real clincher.
Eventually, he'd found himself in front of the convenience store he sort of not really but actually did remember himself working in. It'd been a moment's hesitation before he walked in...and asked if they needed any help. Long term part time sort of help. Turns out they did.
And so, exiting the elevator and making his way to the apartment, a bag of snacks, curry, and noodles in hand, Tokito was in a much better mood.
Besides, there was Kubochan now!
