Fay watched, dismayed, as the souffle he was practicing making fell with the grace of a deflating balloon in the oven. He tilted his head in confusion as the ground continued to shake at intervals. It didn't take long for him to realize though, and he snapped his fingers and nodded.
He took off his apron and hung it up and headed out onto the grounds to confirm his suspicions and grinned when he discovered he was right. It was that girl that Kuro had taken such a shine to. He realized that even though she had been living with them a while that he had not yet had a chance to get to know her very well, mostly due to the constantly changing nature of Somarium. Now was as good a time as any, he decided, and made his presence known.
"My, you are quite busy for such a lazy afternoon!"
Augh sorry for the long wait, this week had been crazyfluorite_fluxJune 4 2010, 05:52:45 UTC
"Ah, I apologize, I did not mean to sneak," said Fay. "And additionally I apologize for not introducing myself before now. Things have been ... rather hectic."
"Fay. Thanks for not complaining about me staying here. Blacky didn't really ask if it was okay before letting me." Of course, she had kind of forced herself in.
"I see ..." he said thoughtfully. "If you would like, you could come into the village with me. I have some flowers that need picking up. The shop here has some really lovely scented ones. We could get to know each other along the way!"

"Ah--! Don't sneak up on me!" The boulder she had lifted fell to the ground with a large thump. She was starting to get used to this kind of exchange.
"Well, I have to be doing something. Blacky doesn't seem to be around, and I'm bored." She frowned, but didn't turn her head to face her visitor.
"You're Fay, right? It's kinda weird that we haven't really talked yet."

"I suppose you could say we are like night and day, but then again, coming from different walks of life will do that to one or two," he said.

She thought for a little bit.

"What kind of stuff is there to do around here?"

He tilted his head a little at her next question, though he already knew she could not necessarily see the gesture.
"What do you mean precisely? For fun? For adventure?"

"I can only clean my feet so many times before I get bored."
