Most little boys Gavroche's age had parents and a nice home. They went to school and were well cared for with lots of food and love. He wasn't like those boys and was known around this place as the orphan street urchin. Right now, that urchin was hungry.
Walking along, whistling as he went, he headed for food. Seeing some nice bread that smelled delicious and made his stomach rumble, he sneaked over to grab some. It wasn't like he had money to pay for it anyways.
Licking his lips, he reached for it...
