He's through with exploring the area for now, and as he's still fairly certain that he's dreaming, he doesn't have any real desire to explore the place further. After all, he'll wake up soon anyway. He still feels more comfortable in Espoir, though, so that's where he'll be staying for the time being.
His feet, by the way, are perfectly positioned to swing out at any given moment to trip an unsuspecting passerby who walks too close, and he has every intention of following through with this action.
